Rob Yates
Director, Strategy & Business Development
After spending formative years with British Telecom (BT) in London, Rob joined Fujitsu, where he played leading roles during early-phase and mass-market deployments of DSL broadband in the UK. He served multiple functions including OSS design; product innovation; and operational roll-out, deployment, and support. Those experiences gave Rob a broad perspective on the end-to-end business, strategy, and ecosystem models needed to support carriers and enterprises through successive evolutions of network and service technology. He brought that perspective “across the pond” in 2009 when he transferred to Fujitsu Network Communications in Texas. Rob is also a keen competitive cyclist and triathlete who commits much of his spare time to the cycling community through coaching, club management, and team support in addition to his own amateur racing career. These team sports activities enable Rob to maintain a sharp and practical focus on continuous individual and team improvement that aligns perfectly with his collaborative role as Strategy and Business Development Director at Fujitsu Network Communications.
